Cast Away (in progress)
The project documents the forgotten edges of Miami through forgotten machines.
Shot exclusively on thrifted, obsolete film cameras, the project treats the city and the camera as collaborators — both aging, both unreliable, both shaped by time and exposure. The images resist polish, embracing flaws as evidence of history rather than mistakes.
These photographs are not about preservation, but recognition. They pause on places left behind by progress and ask what it means to notice them at all.
